Klee’s Talents

Kaboom!

Kaboom! is Klee’s normal and charged attack. When performing a normal attack, Klee throws up to three Pyro balls that will explode upon contact with the enemy, dealing Pyro damage. When you perform a Charged attack, Klee will use some stamina and deal a powerful Pyro damage on enemies in a small AoE. To maximize Klee’s damage, you can learn to do animation cancels on both her Charged and Normal attack. You can do an animation cancel by jumping or dashing immediately after throwing out an attack. Klee is also incredibly vulnerable, so doing this animation cancel can help her dodge the attacks of the enemy.

Jumpy Dumpty

Jumpy Dumpty is Klee’s Elemental Skill. When you use Klee’s Elemental Skill, she will throw a Jumpy Dumpty bomb, which will bounce three times. Every bounce will deal Pyro Damage on surrounding enemies. After bouncing three times, the Jumpy Dumpty will explode into little land mines that will explode when enemies walk on them.

Sparks ’n’Splash!

Sparks ’n’Splash! is Klee’s elemental burst, and using this skill will summon the Sparks ’n’Splash, following Klee and attacking enemies surrounding her, dealing Pyro damage.

Pounding Surprise

This passive will allow you to perform a Charged Attack without using any Stamina. The Charged attack will deal 50% extra damage.

Sparkling Burst

Sparkling Burst is a passive skill that you can unlock on Ascension Phase 4. Whenever your Charged attacks CRITs, all of the members of your party will get your elemental energy.

All of my Treasures!

All of my Treasures! is Klee’s utility passive, and it allows you to see Monstadt resources. The resources will be marked on your map.

Team Compositions

Protect Klee Team

Klee is incredibly vulnerable, especially because she has long attack animations. Adding Zhongli and Diona to the team can help give her extra shield and survivability. The double shield means you do not need to dodge as much against bosses, allowing you to get more damage in. Adding Bennett to your team will activate the Pyro resonance, increasing your attack by 25%. Both Diona and Bennett can act as healers in the team as well.

Vaporize Team

This team is quite expensive, but adding Mona to your team allows you to perform the Vaporize elemental reaction. Mona can also act as another damage dealer due to her elemental burst. You can also add Venti into the team to proc the Pyro-Swirl damage on your enemies. You can equip Venti with 4 pcs. of Viridescent Venerer. Lastly, Bennett is one of the best healers and support you can give to Klee due to their Pyro Resonance.

Melt Team

The only difference with this team compared to the Vaporize team is that you are replacing Mona with Ganyu. Ganyu can easily act as another Sub-DPS. Ganyu can easily give you the melt reaction, which doubles Klee’s damage. If you have Ganyu C4, you can increase the damage taken by enemies by up to 25%. As always, Bennett will act as your battery and healer, and Venti will work as Anemo support.

Summary

Klee is one of the most consistent Pyro DPS in the game. However, Klee has long animations on both her normal and charged attacks. She can be vulnerable against enemies, so building a team that can support her will increase her survivability in the field. You can also practice doing animation cancellations on her attack to get more damage in and dodge incoming enemy attacks.
