Maslany made this revelation during an interview with Extra, where she discussed her return to the upcoming Daredevil series. According to her, she needs an invite to the film to return the favor of the guest appearance of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil character. In her words, “I need a contract. I would love to.” Prior to his appearance in She-Hulk, Cox featured as the character in Netflix’s Daredevil. He also had a cameo as Daredevil in the recent film Spiderman: No Way Home. However, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was the Daredevil character’s first major appearance in the MCU. Even though he was only in the last two episodes of the show, his bonding with Walters was fast especially since they are both lawyers and superheroes, and it developed into a romantic relationship. However, Maslany described their relationship as unserious but teased the endless possibilities. She stated that she doesn’t know what her character’s life is like at the moment and expressed her belief that her character and Cox’s character have a real connection. In her words, “I’m curious how that [Walters and Murdock’s connection] manifests, whether it’s getting together every now and again and having fun, or if it buds into something more.” As expected, many fans were intrigued by the connection between both characters in the little time they had together. This prompted queries if the two will appear on-screen again. Given that Daredevil is getting a solo series, Daredevil: Born Again, it is the likeliest place for the duo to reconnect. However, only Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio have been confirmed to appear in the series. As a result, there is a chance that Maslany will reprise her role in the show. While Marvel Studios hasn’t provided any information on whether Murdock’s romance with Walters will carry into the Daredevil series, both stars seem eager that it should. In fact, Cox has openly declared his desire for Maslany to guest star in a couple of episodes and said it would be fun to work with her again. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is an MCU limited series that debuted on Disney+ in August. It follows Jennifer Walters, a lawyer for the superhuman community and the cousin of Bruce Banner who accidentally acquires his superhuman abilities when his blood cross-contaminates with hers. The show follows Walters as she tries to walk the fine line between being a lawyer for the superhero community and being a superhero herself. Apart from Maslany, who plays the titular character, and Cox who starred as Matt Murdock, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also featured Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, and Mark Ruffalo as Titania/Mary MacPherran, Nikki Ramos, Augustus “Pug” Pugliese, and The Hulk/Bruce Banner respectively. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is currently streaming on Disney+. There are doubts over the potential for a second season, which Maslany and Jessica Gao, the series creator, have done nothing to dispel. Meanwhile, Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform sometime in 2024
