The latest addition to the plethora of Marksman Rifles in Warzone is the new SP-R 208, which is also known as the “R700.” The SP-R 208 marksman rifle was added into the game in Season 6 and can be acquired for free by reaching the Battle Pass tier 15. This new rifle might be under the category of Marksman Rifle, but it holds a heavy-hitting power that far exceeds the existing sniper rifles in the game. This rifle can easily replace the Kar98k meta.
With the right attachments, this rifle turns into a ‘Hitscan’ weapon. A ‘Hitscan’ basically means, where ever your crosshair points, the bullet will go straight to it. It doesn’t have any bullet drop. There is a catch, after about 405m - 409m, the bullet disappears. It doesn’t have any bullet drop, and it can’t be seen beyond approximately 409m. It could be a bug, but once this bug is fixed, it means the rifle will also probably lose its hitscan ability. Regardless, the setup that we have below will still give you maximum accuracy and range with minimal overall movement penalty. For this setup, you must level up your SP-R 208 to at least level 50. We have a full guide on how to upgrade your weapon, battle pass tier, and player fast. You can also check out our guide on all the attachments for every weapon along with their unlock level requirements.

Muzzle
As for most of the weapons, you must select the Monolithic Suppressor as your Muzzle attachment, for increased damage range and sound suppression. The main focus here is to turn this rifle into the most accurate rifle, and the Monolithic Suppressor plays a significant role in not just this weapon, but the majority of the weapons.
The Monolithic Suppressor for the SP-R unlocks at level 43.
Barrel
For the Barrel, you must choose the SP-R 26" attachment. It gives your weapon even more damage range, increased bullet velocity, and better recoil control. As it is the most prolonged available barrel attachment, it will provide the maximum possible damage range out of all the barrels.
The SP-R 26" Barrel unlocks at level 46.
Laser
There’s only one Laser attachment available for the SP-R, and that is the Tac Laser. You must add the Tac Laser attachment for better ADS speed. In addition to an increased ADS speed, it also provides better-aiming stability and aim walking steadiness, so you can take your shots easily while strafing left or right.
The Tac Laser unlocks at level 41.
Optic
You have two options to choose from under the Optics category, and it is an entirely personal preference. You can either go with the Solozero SP-R 28mm optic sight or the Variable Zoom Scope. The Variable Zoom Scope isn’t the best for this rifle as it slows down your ADS speed quite a lot. The Solozero SP-R 28mm also decreases but not as much as the Variable Zoom Scope. Besides, the Tac Laser compensates for the ADS speed reduction caused by the Solozero Optic.
The Solozero SP-R 208 optic is super clean, gives better accuracy and increased range. It provides 7x magnification, so you can easily take out the targets at considerably high ranges. The Solozero SP-R 208 unlocks at level 33.
Ammunition
Now, coming to the primary attachment of this setup. You might be wondering how an Ammunition attachment can be the most crucial attachment of any setup? Well, in this build, it is because this attachment is the main reason why your rifle turns into a hitscan weapon. For the Ammunition, you must select .338 Lapua Mag 5-R Mags. These are the strongest and the hardest-hitting bullets available for the SP-R. It increases not only the damage of your rifle but also the overall damage range and the bullet velocity making it a perfect weapon for long-distance encounters.
It turns this Marksman Rifle’s damage into an AX-50 or even HDR sniper rifle damage, despite the range stat bar reaching almost its full potential. You will notice that you won’t hit targets at a distance of over 409m, which is a bug, as stated in the intro above. Any target within that range is sure to get one-shotted as long as it is a headshot. The only downside of this ammo attachment is the maximum ammo capacity of 5 rounds. So you will be prompted to reload after every five shots. However, even five are more than enough if you land those shots with reasonable accuracy. The .338 Lapua Mag 5-R Mags unlocks at level 50.
