Less than a month after release, someone has gone and made a nude mod for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, though ’nude’ is a bit of an overstatement. Some of the outfits available in Valhalla are battle harnesses which leave little to the imagination, and while wearing these as a male Eivor leaves just the harness, a little extra cloth is added for the female variants to be more palatable to modern sensibilities. Ratings may also be to blame. Either way, someone created a texture modification that removes these. The aptly named “Braless” mod, found on NexusMods only if you log in and enable Adult Content, is a simple retexture that gets rid of the additional bra found alongside some of the lighter outfits in the game. Note that this is just a texture mod, the character model isn’t actually altered so don’t go expecting full realism. The mod’s author has since released an update which also removes her other underwear for a full tasteless objectification double-whammy. We were wondering who even the audience of this is but apparently the original was popular enough to warrant this follow-up. Something something putting the “ass” back into assassin? Surely, a pair of low resolution nippleless breasts are bound to improve the gaming experience offered by Valhalla for millions of fans. Maybe the mod is intended to work this way, so that screenshots may be allowed on Facebook, also known as Zuckerberg’s nipple-free utopia. Incidentally you won’t find any mods that tweak Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla which allow male Eivor to let his longboat sail free, so to speak. At least, you won’t find any yet.
