James Gunn has once again taken the time over on Twitter to debunk the rumors. The co-CEO of DC Studios replied “Fake” to a deleted tweet that reported “John Stewart’s Green Lantern series has been cancelled! I believe this because James has bigger plans for the Lanterns.” The deleted tweet cites insider Daniel Richtman (@DanielRPK) as the source of the information. — James Gunn (@JamesGunn) December 26, 2022 Gunn’s reply comes after reports that the series’ showrunner Seth Grahame-Smith as well as actors Jeremy Irvine and Finn Wittrock have left the show....

That said, Rockstar’s silence hasn’t stopped leaks and rumors from popping up. If anything, it’s only added to it. Case in point, reliable industry insider, Tom Henderson, who is known for his Battlefield leaks, among others, recently discussed how he came across information concerning Grand Theft Auto 6. Even if Tom did later warn audiences that he wasn’t known for leaking GTA information, someone who is a credible GTA leaker has just gone on to confirm what Tom said....

According to Microsoft Gaming CEO, Phil Spencer, Sony is getting Call of Duty for “at least several more years” on top of the existing agreement. In the letter Spencer supposedly sent to PlayStation head, Jim Ryan, Spencer described the offer as “well beyond typical gaming industry agreements.” However, Ryan recently responded with a statement of his own. Ryan said to GamesIndustry.biz that he initially had no intention to comment on what he claims was supposed to be a “private business discussion” but that he felt “the need to set the record straight” now that the cat is out of the bag....

According to a caption from a new snippet from Empire Magazine, “Benedict Wong returns as Sorcerer Supreme Wong; Rachel McAdams as Stephen Strange’s former sweetheart Christina Palmer; Strange stands before the Illuminati.” If this isn’t enough of a confirmation that the Illuminati is about to make its MCU debut, we don’t know what is. Since then, there’ve been plenty of news about Dead Island 2’s progress and release, but it appears that the most recent piece of information might have just confirmed that the game is very much on Deep Silver’s docket. According to Tom Henderson, his sources have told him that Dambuster Studios is actively working on Dead Island 2....

TheGhostofHope went on Twitter to drop new and interesting details about the multiplayer mode of Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty game. Specifically, the user claims that the studio will adjust several multiplayer aspects that most players are used to. For example, TheGhostofHope claims that the biggest change will come to the Perks system. Instead of being able to choose three Perks, the new Call of Duty game will let players select four....

Expect to see more dragon’s in Dota: Dragon’s Blood Season 2 One of the biggest additions to Season 2 of Dota: Dragon’s Blood is Lina, the Slayer. The in-game lore didn’t explain how Lina can take control of lighting and fire. However, several voice lines do suggest that he’s capable of wielding the power of dragons. The show might finally explain how Lina can do this. Also, if Lina’s here, then we can assume that her icy sister and rival, Rylai the Crystal Maiden, is going to appear in the show as well....

According to Puck, Miguel Sapochnik’s exit was less graceful than Otto Hightower’s ceding of the throne to the nearly-dead Viserys Targaryen. Back in August, Miguel Sapochnik confirmed that he was no longer part of the series he’d helped start effectively immediately just shortly after the show premiered. While Sapochnik remained as the executive producer of the series, it was to the understanding of many that HBO and Sapochnik parted ways on good terms....

Earlier this week, the Pokemon company announced a new set of Pokemon cards called the Sword & Shield - Silver Tempest, scheduled to launch on November 11, 2022.
