Will we ever see Ghost Story Games’ debut title?

Bloomberg claims to have spoken to more than a dozen current and former Ghost Story Games employees. The gist of the report is that Levine’s new game isn’t progressing well; it doesn’t even have a name let alone a release date after suffering through several reboots over the years. In addition, the employees believe that the reason for the delay is the amount of autonomy Take-Two Interactive has provided to Levine since he restructured Irrational Games in 2014. According to the report, Take-Two sees Levine as a video game auteur, which is similar to how many refer to the legendary video game creator, Hideo Kojima. Unfortunately, former employees believe that Take-Two’s decision to put so much faith into Levine has created a management style that’s conducive to burnout. If it’s any consolation, Bloomberg’s report is not all bad news. One employee reported that Ghost Story Games’ first game is finally gaining traction. The same employee explained that Ghost Story Games might reveal Levine’s project in two years. If this is true, then we might just see the fourth BioShock game arrive before Levine’s next title hits the market. Developer Cloud Chamber is currently working on BioShock 4 for Take-Two. Cloud Chamber first revealed BioShock 4 back in December 2019. Since then, we haven’t heard about BioShock 4, except for a couple of key details through leaks. For example, Colin Moriarty claims that BioShock 4 will be set in the 1960s inside a fictional city known as Borealis.
