According to the sales figures, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered, the third-best-selling PS4 game, is neck-and-neck with God of War when it comes to its PC ports. Now, one of the first and best PS5 exclusives, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, is swinging into Steam and Epic Games Store to give Peter Parker some much-needed backup. According to PlayStation’s YouTube channel, Miles Morales will be ready to kick ass this fall. Miles Morales’ arrival all but confirms that Sony isn’t above porting its PS5 exclusives for the PC. This should be good news for those who want a PC port of Demon’s Souls, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Returnal, among others. The PC release of any console-exclusive game is always good news, much more so if it’s a PlayStation game after the studio refused to share its best-selling titles for years. Aside from the satisfaction of playing first-party Sony titles on a more robust platform, the mods add a lot of fun. It hasn’t been a long time since Peter Parker dropped by on the PC and we’ve already seen several mods that brought Stan Lee and Kingpin, among others, into video game life. Who knows? Modders might bring Black Panther or Falcon into Miles Morales. But, most likely, we’ll be seeing a lot of sneaker mods after Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse revealed that the younger Spider-Man is a sneakerhead. At the moment, we’re still waiting for Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Collection to arrive on October 19 as well as The Last of Us Part 1.
