Jones revealed this desire in an interview with ComicBook.com, where he said this: Iron Fist was a Netflix series that debuted in 2017. Jones played the role of Danny Rand, a billionaire and martial artist who can focus his chi into his fist, thereby making it exponentially powerful. The series did not receive much love from fans and critics and it ran for a mere two seasons before Netflix canceled it. Because of this, making an argument for the return of this character in its own show might be a hard sell. Besides, in the comics, Iron Fist usually appeared with other characters. As a result, Jones’s suggestion of a Heroes for Hire series makes a lot of sense for Marvel to reintroduce the character, if they have any intention of such. In the comics, Heroes for Hire is an organization filled with superpowered individuals helping strangers for money. The group was usually led by either Danny Rand or Luke Cage and had any of Human Torch, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and the Ghost Rider as members of the group. Recently, Disney has made it a habit to bring characters from other Marvel franchises. We have already seen Daredevil’s Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, in Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, from the same series in Hawkeye. Only recently, Marvel brought back X-Men’s Charles Xavier as well as King Black Bolt from the Inhumans in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Rumors also suggest that Jon Bernthal will return as The Punisher. It’s not far-fetched that Jones’s Danny Rand can feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point. If you want to refresh your memory on Iron Fist, both seasons of the series are available on Disney+.
