Titans Season 4 was announced at a recent panel at New York Comic-Con. The new season will have 12 episodes, which is shorter than the two preceding seasons. It will premiere with two episodes on Thursday, November 4 while a new episode will be released on Thursdays until December 1 with the rest of the season to be released in 2023. The upcoming season’s logline reads: Given that season three concluded almost a year ago on October 21, 2021, fans will be glad to hear this news. Even better is the fact that the platform also released an official trailer for the upcoming season which you can view below. Titans is based on Teen Titans, a team of young DC Comics superheroes who work together to defeat evil. It features Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Joshua Orpin, Franka Potente, Titus Welliver, and Joseph Morgan as regular cast members. The series also features Jay Lycurgo and Lisa Ambalavanar in recurring roles. While there’s no official plot for the season, the show’s cast members have provided insight into what the season will be about. The new season will dive deeper into content from the comics, in line with the last season, which explored many Batman-related arcs. From the set photos, it’s evident that the team of young superheroes has moved to Blüdhaven. We can also tell that Morgan will play Blood Brother, the leader of a supernatural cult, Church of Blood, and serve as one of the season’s villains. Also, Welliver will portray Lex Luthor, with other villains including Mother Mayhem and the evil sorcerer Jinx. Titans first premiered in October 2018 and was renewed for two seasons. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic delayed filming for the third season and threw the show’s timeline in disarray. The new season started filming earlier this year in February and wrapped up in September.
