343 Industries has done an excellent job keeping audiences in the loop by way of blog posts, teasers, trailers, and even getting players in early playtests, most of which have had nothing but positive to say about the upcoming Halo game. However, with only a month separating us from Halo Infinite’s launch, the Microsoft Store just leaked one of the game’s several editions.
Microsoft Store leaks Halo Infinite’s Early Access Bundle
The latest Halo Infinite leak comes from Microsoft Store, which was spotted by Aggiornamenti Lumia. The user posted their findings on Twitter, which quickly went viral. What’s interesting here is that the page does not specifically list Halo Infinite in its title. Instead, the title simply writes “Early Access Digital Bundle” along with the description. However, you can see clearly below that Halo Infinite is included in the listing, which suggests that it’s only a matter of time before 343 Industries confirms that there is a way to play Halo Infinite before anything else.
— Aggiornamenti Lumia (@ALumia_Italia) November 1, 2021 Halo Infinite’s launch is unique compared to its contemporaries. It’s taken a page out of Activision’s playbook by making Halo Infinite’s multiplayer aspect free-to-play. At the same time, the game will have an extensive single-player campaign that’s available for purchase. This way, older fans of Halo Infinite can enjoy the story of the latest Halo title. Meanwhile, those who are just looking for a fun new shooter to play can see what Halo Infinite has to offer that other shooters don’t. At the moment, the single-player campaign of Halo Infinite is available for pre-order at full price. If Microsoft is going to launch an “Early Access Digital Bundle”, we suspect that the announcement is going to come in the next few days. Hopefully, the rumored bundle comes with extra content on top of giving players access to Halo Infinite a few days earlier. In other Halo news, 343 finally dropped some campaign footage for Halo Infinite, which got fans excited. Right around the same time, 343 also released a PC overview video detailing how the studio built Halo Infinite for the PC “from the ground up.”
