All these games have just about had everything leaked beforehand too. This time, it’s all about weapon attachments and perks for Call of Duty: Vanguard. The good thing about getting closer to release and having all sorts of technical tests which involve fans actually getting ahold of files and assets means that more leaks are based on datamined hard evidence rather than hearsay - the bad thing is that if you don’t want parts of the game potentially spoiled you need to relocate to a cave! This latest bunch of leaked info, complete with snippets of in-game screenshots showing UI tooltips, concerns the STG-44 weapon’s progression track. In Call of Duty: Vanguard, you level up your individual weapons, thus unlocking newer attachments for them as you use them. The lists and images came from Twitter user and known Call of Duty leaker MW2 OG. First up, we’ve got the entire attachment progression track for the STG-44, one of the weapons confirmed for Vanguard. Like in previous Call of Duty titles, weapons will have a uniform hard level cap of 100, but you’ll stop unlocking new rewards before you hit that rank. In this case, 71 is the last level to grant a reward. You’ll be getting both attachment and perks as you make your way through the track.

Some levels grant two rewards - we’re not sure why they couldn’t spread them out to leave fewer rewardless ranks after 71, but sure. Additionally, we also know the last reward-granting level of a few other weapons - the Revolving Shotgun caps out at 71, the M1911 at 60, the BAR at 71, the 1911 at 60 and the Thompson at 70. Since the game is still in testing, much of these specifics are subject to change and may appear differently in the final game - case in point, the perks do not have actual icons yet and are all marked by a pink “temp” stamp. Call of Duty: Vanguard launches on the 5th of November.
