Bennett’s Talents
Strike of Fortune
Strike of Fortune is Bennett’s normal and charged attack. Bennett will perform up to five strikes and using his charged attack will consume stamina.
Passion Overload
Passion Overload is Bennett’s Elemental Skill. Pressing this elemental skill will cause Bennett to perform one quick strike using Pyro damage. Holding Bennett’s elemental skill will cause him to charge. The first level of Bennett’s elemental skill will cause him to strike twice using Pyro damage. If you hold it longer, you can get to level 2, which will allow him to attack 3 times using Pyro damage. However, the last attack will launch both Bennett and the Enemy into the air.
Fantastic Voyage
Fantastic Voyage is Bennett’s, Elemental Burst. Bennett will perform a small plunging attack using Pyro damage and creates a huge field. This field will heal the character if they are below 70%. If the character has 70% or more HP, they will instead get an additional ATK bonus, based on Bennett’s base ATK. This field will also apply the Pyro element to characters that are currently in the field.
Rekindle
Rekindle is a passive that is unlocked on Ascension Phase 1. This passive decreases the cooldown of Passion Overload by 20%.
Fearnaught
Fearnaught is a passive that is unlocked on Ascension Phase 4. This passive will decrease your cooldown by 50% and remove the knockback on Bennett’s Level 2 Elemental Skill if you are inside the field created using Passion Overload and Fantastic Voyage.
It Should Be Safe…
It Should Be Safe… is Bennett’s utility skill. If you dispatch Bennett on an expedition in Mondstadt, the time needed is decreased by 25%.
Best Builds for Bennett
Elemental Burst/Healer Weapons
One of the best ways to build Bennett is by building him as a Healer and Support. His Fantastic Voyage can only heal up to 70%, but it is one of the fastest healing skills in the game.
Primordial Jade Cutter
Primordial Jade Cutter is a five-star weapon that has a CRIT Rate sub-stat. You can only get this weapon on the Primordial Jade Series Weapon Banner. This weapon gives the effect called Protector’s Virtue. This effect increases your HP by 20%. It also gives you an attack bonus based on 1.2% of the character’s Max HP.
Skyward Blade
Skyward Blade is another five-star weapon that has an Energy Recharge sub-stat. This weapon gives you the Sky-piercing Fang effect, which increases your Crit Rate by 4%. Whenever you use an Elemental Burst, you will get the Skypiercing Might effect. This effect increases your movement speed and attack speed by 10%. It also gives your normal and charged attack additional damage equal to 20% of your attack.
Favonius Sword
Favonius Sword is a four-star weapon option that has an Energy Recharge as a sub-stat. This weapon has the Windfall effect. Whenever your attack CRITs, you will get a 60% chance to generate Elemental Particles that will recover 6 energy for the character on the field. This effect can only happen every 12 seconds.
Pyro DPS weapons
Bennett also works best as a Pyro sub-DPS. The low cooldown on his elemental skill allows him to constantly apply the Pyro element on enemies.
Aquila Favonia
If you would like to build Bennett as a Pyro DPS or Physical DPS, Aquila Favonia is a good choice. This five-star weapon has a Physical damage bonus sub-stat, and it has the effect called Falcon’s Defiance. This weapon increases your attack by 20%. Whenever you take damage, you can trigger the effect called the Falcon of the West. This regenerate your HP based on 100% of your attack. You will also deal 200% damage based on your attack on surrounding enemies.
Festering Desire
The Festering Desire is another good weapon for both a Pyro DPS or Support/Healer build. However, this weapon can only be obtained at the Chalk Prince and the Dragon event. The last event ran from December 23, 2020, to January 5, 2021. If you missed that event, you will need to wait for a rerun to get the Festering Desire sword. The sword has an Energy Recharge sub-stat and it increases the damage of your elemental skill by 16% and the crit rate of your elemental skill by 6%.
Bennett’s Artifact Set
When it comes to farming artifacts for Bennett, prioritize getting Energy Recharge, ATK%, Healing Bonus, and HP.
4pcs. Noblesse Oblige
The Noblesse Oblige artifact set is the best set for Bennett because it applies to both the support and Pyro DPS build. You can get this artifact set on the Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern. 2 pcs. of this Artifact set will increase your Elemental Burst damage by 20%. If you equip 4 pcs. of this set, you will increase the Attack of all your party members by 20% whenever you perform an Elemental Burst.
4pcs. Crimson Witch of Flames/ 2 pcs. Crimson Witch of Flames and 2 pcs. The Exile
If you would like to prioritize Bennett’s Pyro damage, you can go for 4 pcs. of Crimson Witch of Flames. 2 pieces of this artifact set will increase your Pyro damage bonus by 15%. Equipping 4 pcs. of this artifact set will increase the damage of overload and burning by 40%. It will also increase the damage of Vaporize and melt by 15%. Whenever you use an elemental skill, it increases the effect of the 2 pcs. by 50%. If you are still in the early game, or you want an extra Energy Recharge, you can replace 2 pcs. of Crimson Witch of Flames with the Exile. You can get this artifact set on any Normal bosses, Chests, and Elite enemies. 2 pieces of The Exile increases your Energy Recharge by 20%.
4pcs. Gladiator’s Finale/2pcs. Gladiator’s Finale and 2 pcs. Bloodstained Chivalry
Another build that you can try on Bennett would be using him as a Physical DPS. 2 pieces of Gladiator’s Finale will increase your attack by 18%. Equipping 4 pcs. of Gladiator’s Finale will increase your normal attack damage by 35% if you are a Sword, Claymore, or Polearm user. You can also replace the 2 pcs. of Gladiator’s Finale with 2 pcs. of Bloodstained Chivalry which increases your Physical Damage by 25%.

Team Compositions
Bennett is an incredible support character and can fit in any team. However, below are some of the best team composition ideas for Bennett.
High-Investment Team
This High-Investment Team consists of Diluc, Ganyu, and Venti. Diluc will act as your main DPS and activates the Double Pyro resonance which increases your attack by 25%. Ganyu can easily trigger the melt reaction and work as a Sub-DPS whenever Diluc is out of the field. Venti will act as an anemo support, pulling in all your enemies in one place. Lastly, Bennett will act as your support and healer.
Geo Tartaglia Party
Putting both Zhongli and Albedo together will activate the Double Geo resonance which increases the strength of your shield by 15%. Whenever you are protected with a shield, you get a damage increase of 15. Then when you deal damage to enemies while having a shield, you will decrease their Geo Resistance by 20%. This combo increases the damage capability of all your party members. Tartaglia will act as your main DPS in this team, and Bennett can act as both a Pyro burst support and healer.
The National Team
The National Team is called the National team because they are considered the strongest 4-stars in the game. Even though the team only consists of 4-star characters, they can easily clear the toughest abyss floor when built right. Xiangling will act as the main DPS of the team, and Bennett will act as the battery for Xiangling. Xingqiu can constantly activate the Vaporize reaction because of his skills. Adding Chongyun will allow you to constantly freeze your enemies when you pair him with Xingqiu. You can then apply the Pyro element to get a Melt reaction, giving you more damage. The only downside to this team would be needing to constantly swap in between characters to deal consistent damage.

Bennett is considered one of the best support and healer characters in Genshin Impact. This 4-star pyro character is incredibly versatile, and you can build him as both a healer and burst support.
