The ending of A Quiet Place II left it open for a sequel, but in the meantime, fans will have to do make do with a spin-off that’s set to release on March 31, 2023, as well as a video game based on the two-film sci-fi horror series.

For those unfamiliar with the A Quiet Place movies, the setting is a post-apocalyptic Earth where blind but incredibly powerful alien creatures have conquered pretty much every continent. These monsters, which are highly sensitive to sound, have effectively put a stop to modern civilization as we know it. To survive, the remaining humans have had no choice but to live in complete silence and learn how to use other forms of communication.

The game will be a single-player story-driven horror adventure. However, Illogika and Saber stopped short of revealing anything else about the upcoming title. Then again, judging by the film’s premise, one can expect stealth to be a major component in the game. It will be interesting to see how Illogika will handle being the lead developer on a project on this scale with high expectations. Previously, the studio provided support on games like Cuphead. If it’s any consolation, Saber has tons of experience publishing horror titles. Saber’s slate of titles for 2022 includes A Quiet Place as well as Evil Dead: The Game.
